Siemens U-MHST-MCS Fire Alarm Horn/Strobe

All models of the U-MH series & Siemens U-MHT-MCS Series horns and horn/strobes provide a continuous or coded horn signal, depending on the pattern of the voltage applied. Also, the Adapter feature offers four field selectable candela settings – 15/75, 30/75, 75, or 110. Besides, the Siemens U-MHT-MCS has a universal mounting plate to mount on a single gang, double gang, or 4″ square back box.

In general, Siemens Fire Safety notification devices come designed with the installer in mind. Furthermore, they are constructed with all of the electronics inside the housing and not in the box. This design helps eliminate possible ground faults from crowded electrical boxes. In addition, the strobe construction consists of a Xenon flash tube with solid state circuitry for maximum reliability and efficiency. The full range of strobes has a rounded dome shape made of clear Polycarbonate.
