The Edwards SIGA-IM2 Isolator Module is an addressable device that protects a signaling line circuit (SLC) from a to wire-to-wire short. The SIGA-IM2 module monitors line voltages and opens the data to detect a short, isolating the short between the two modules located closest to the short. The loop controller assigns an address to the SIGA-IM module. The module uses one detector address on the SLC.
- Automatic short-circuit isolation between Signature loop modules and sensors.
- Supports up to 25 devices (modules or detectors) between isolators.
- Low standby current: 45μA (nominal); active current: 230μA (nominal).
- Operating voltage: 15.2 to 19.95 VDC from the Signature Data Circuit (SDC).
- Operating environment: 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C); up to 93% RH, non-condensing.
